Below is the video content for our Partners Course. The course is designed around the 5 values of Grace Midtown, and it is the best way for new partners to catch the culture of our church.

There are links to videos for each value, as well as the descriptions that accompany each value. We have provided a few processing questions to help you engage in the content.

Plumb the Depths

Plumb the Depths

Value Description:

  • We are deep people, unsatisfied with simply skimming the surface of life, God, self, and relationships. We drink deeply from the Spirit, dive deep into the scriptures, and courageously explore the depths of our own story and identity.

Processing Questions:

  • What is your one take away from the video?

  • When you read the description, which part is personally challenging to you? And Why?

Awaken the Dream

Value Description: 

  • We are dreamers who believe that God has placed a dream in every human heart. We are committed to discovering and pursuing our own God dreams, as well as inspiring, investing in and empowering the God dreams in others.

Processing Questions: 

  • How would you articulate your God Dream? 

  • Are there ways that Grace Midtown could help you pursue your dream?

Value Description: 

  • We are pioneers, committed to boldly following Jesus into new ways of thinking, living and leading. We expect the Scriptures and the Spirit to challenge our biases, provoke our potential, and defy our doubts as we say yes to the God who is always on the move.

Processing Questions: 

  • In what ways have you experienced this value during your time at Grace Midtown? 

  • When were you last challenged by Scripture and/or the Spirit? 

Give it Away

Value Description: 

  • We are future-oriented, ambitiously investing in those God is raising up next. We do not cling to our positions, influence, opportunities, or resources, but follow a savior who lived and led with the words “You will do greater things than me,” and “It is more blessed to give than receive."

Processing Questions: 

  • Who in your life embodies this value the most? Are there ways you can follow their example? 

  • How can you practice this value today? 

Do it Together

Value Description: 

  • We share our lives with one another, knowing in our guts that God has not called us to go it alone. We laugh, cry, eat, drink, rise, fall, and try again in community, because we believe life is better together.

Processing Questions: 

  • Who is your community? 

  • In what ways could you share more of your life with your community? 

Final Reflection

After watching these videos here’s some final questions to consider:

  1. In what ways have you experienced these values during your time at Grace Midtown? 

  2. Which value resonates most with you at this point in your life?

  3. If you decided to embody/live out the 5 values of Grace Midtown how would your life be different? 

  4. How could you practice one of the 5 values this next week?
